Choose your dimensions by selecting the width of the hat. Width is measured on a flattened Hat band, if you double this width, you will have the circumference. The hat will come with chin strap attach points for tying if needed.
If you own one of our giant santa hats, please order the exact same size if it fit well.
The fabric on the Fourth of July hats are made out of 100% Spun Polyester Outdoor Fabric and they tend to hold up throughout the season. All materials used are designed to be kept indoors or outside.
Fabric is rated at 1,000 UV Hours before fading will 'begin', which is 500 more hours than standard outdoor furniture fabric coverings. We always suggest spraying with any UV protectant you use on outdoor furniture and fabrics.
Due to material supply issues, exact coloring may vary, although we strictly try to keep all hats the same.

PROPER MEASURING:
1- Wrap a string around the object you want the Giant Fourth of July hat on EXACTLY where you want to brim to lay, as if the string was the bottom part of the hat.
2-After a complete wrap around, measure the string in INCHES, Cut it in half, and order the hat that is in your range of measurement. So 36" around will be 18" after cutting in half, and you will order a 16-22" hat. Giant Fourth of July hats will not stretch, but can still fit an object if under measured by sitting on top.
3- For your hat to sit on top of your object, get a size that is a range of your measurement. If you want your hat to come down over the object, like a totem pole, be sure to get a size range larger than your object. The inner circle of the hat will be exactly 2x the smaller size ordered. 16-22" hat, will have a 32" opening on the bottom.
